毕业于中南大学。

先后被《Journal of Membrane Science》、《Journal of Hazardous Materials》、《Chemosphere》和《Separation Science and Technology》等国际SCI源刊聘为审稿专家。

主持国家自然科学基金2项(20976040、51573041)、湖南省自然科学基金2项(13JJ3086、05JJ40020) 、湖南省教育厅重点项目(15A061)、湖南省科技计划项目(2009SK3036)、湖南省校企合作人才培养示范基地(145812)、指导国家级大学生创新创业训练计划项目(201410534004);参与国家自然科学基金、湖南省自然科学基金等多项，在《Journal of Membrane Science》、《Journal of Hazardous Materials》、《Chemosphere》、《Separation Science and Technology》、《Chemical Engineering&Technology》、《Desalination》、《Asia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering》、《Chinese Journal of chemical Engineering》、《高校化学工程学报》、《过程工程学报》、《应用化学》和《中国环境科学》等刊物上发表论文70余篇，其中被SCI、EI收录40余篇，授权和申请专利10项。
